The concept of the "flipped classroom" has been around as a buzzphrase for a few years now, and undoubtedly there will be a few teachers in your school or college who use this approach (it may even be you!) - but what exactly is a flipped classroom, how do you create one, and why would you flip?

Ruth has been Subject Lead in Economics at tutor2u for many years after a career of teaching Economics, Business, Politics and Maths in a range of secondary schools. She is a highly experienced A level Economics Examiner, and also teaches undergraduate Economics on a very part-time basis at the University of Oxford.
