Why are women so angry after the killing of Sarah Everard?
23rd March 2021
Sarah Everard disappeared on March 3rd and her body was found a few days later. A MET police officer has been charged with her kidnap and murder. This podcast episode involves a discussion about the harassment, abuse and violence that women routinely face. The MET has also been criticised due to their response to a vigil held in Sarah's honour.
The podcast does contain material about abuse and violence that some listeners may find distributing. It is strongly advised that a teacher previews this before sharing with students.
The episode could be used for the Crime and Deviance unit (gender and crime).
