Where to live if you're young

BBC Newsbeat have created an interactive map to illustrate how different places in the UK rank in terms of a number of variables (public transport, rent, sports facilities and employment).

Students could compare different areas of the UK and consider their own rankings for the area where they live. Are there any aspects missing that they would include? What would they omit? Students could also examine the data in more details and consider the relative deprivation of some areas.

This could be used within the The Media unit.
