Spiral

I’m currently paying the price for taking on too many things - apologies - but in case any one is wondering, that’s why I’ve missed the odd posting recently. Once the desk is clearer, towards the end of next month and into the new year, I am hoping to get a bit more organised.

For today; regular readers will know my fondness for cheap TV cop series. Last weekend I found one that really impressed me: Spiral on BBC4. Of course, I think it’s great. It has lots of stuff about class, race and gender, and even better, it’s in French (with subtitles), so you can kid yourself that you understand more French than you really do. I guess it could help a bit? The only thing I can think of that would improve it would be if Telly Savalas could be brought back and have a starring role - on a sort of secondment I suppose.
