According to the recent report from the Social Mobility Commission, young people are “highly skeptical about advancement [in terms of social mobility] being a reality”.
Some of the key findings in the report include:
- 40% of people think it is harder for the disadvantaged to catch up
- 75% of people believe that there are large gaps between social classes
This article could be used within the Social Stratification unit, and within the Education unit.
