Pope changes law so women are allowed to perform tasks in mass

In a significant change to Catholic church law, Pope Francis has said that lay women can now perform certain tasks during mass.
The move has been welcomed by many, although the pope has also said that the change does not mean that women can become priests.
This article could be used for the Beliefs in Society unit as well as within an examination of the role of women in religious organisations (gender).
