How an Instagram account exposed a culture of sexual abuse inside UK schools?
13th April 2021
This podcast from The Guardian explores reports of sexual harassment in UK schools.
The founder of the website Everyone's Invited is interviewed about why she decided to use social media to share her own experiences before setting up the website. There is a discussion about the differences between the accounts provided from private as well as state schools and how this may influence how the media reports on the stories. It could be used as a resource for the Education unit, Crime and Deviance and The Media.
The episode does contain material that some people may find distressing.
