Grenfell
6th December 2019
This documentary from The Guardian explores the issues of community and social class of the Silchester estate in London.
Residents in this estate discovered the Grenfell tower in flames in June 2017. The towers in Grenfell and that of Silchester are similar in construction and after the tragedy people tried to make sense of the events and the response from the government and in the media.
This film could be used within the Culture and Identity unit (social class, age).
