29th July 2020
This article discusses how work has changed since Covid-19.
There are interviews with people who are working remotely as a result of coronavirus (those who are able to), and highlights levels of productivity as well as the links between a reduction in social interaction and increases in mental health issues.
There is also a discussion about how the traditional office setting may be in decline, if workers can work from home rather than companies paying for office space.
The article could be used for the Work, Poverty and Welfare unit.
