Maximising marks with the Geography Building Blocks

Remember that standalone learned knowledge and understanding (assessment objective 1, or AO1) counts for just 34% of the total marks in A-level Geography exams.

The other 66% of the total marks is made up of questions aimed at assessment objective 2 (AO2) and assessment objective 3 (AO3).

This Exam Preparation Workbook has been designed to help you maximise your marks across all three assessment objectives using the Geography Building Blocks. In each section, there are three sets of tasks for you to complete, beginning with ‘bedrock knowledge’ questions. Then you’ll be ‘climbing higher’ with data analysis and interpretation tasks. And when you finally arrive ‘at the viewpoint’, you’ll be ready to assess and evaluate like an expert!

Printed Resources

If your purchase is available as a 'Printed Resource', tutor2u uses DPD to deliver your resources.

In most cases, it will arrive the following day (if ordered before 3pm), but at busy times can take up to 3 working days. You will receive tracking information usually via email to track your parcel(s).

The office is open Monday to Friday, so any orders placed after 3pm on a Friday or at the weekend, will not be shipped until the following Monday.
