Victim Surveys
Victim surveys involve asking a sample of people to identify both reported and unreported crimes that have been committed against them.One of the largest victim surveys carried out in the UK is the Crime Survey for England and Wales (previously known as the British Crime Survey).It is a face-to-face survey that collects data from 50,000 households in the UK (2016/17), selected at random from the Royal Mail’s list of addresses.
