Beck's Negative Triad
According to Beck, sufferers of depression experience cognitive distortions. Beck said that people with depression draw irrational conclusions about themselves (nobody loves me), their world (the world is an unfair place) and their future (I will always be a failure). These three distortions form Beck’s negative triad.
