Counselling Psychology
Counselling psychology focuses on providing therapeutic treatments to clients who experience a wide variety of symptoms, to help people of all ages deal with emotional, social, developmental, and other life concerns. Humanistic psychology has provided several approaches to counselling and therapy. For example, person-centered therapy was developed by Carl Rogers. This is non-directive and the client is encouraged to discover their own solutions within a warm, supportive and non-judgemental environment.
