Teaching Activity | Set The Tone Ice Breakers (Induction)
Last updated 31 Aug 2022
These activities will help to create a fun, engaged, safe learning environment in the Psychology classroom!
Students often struggle with confidence, which can prevent them from participating in class discussions or offering answers to questions. This affects motivation, enjoyment, and in the long term can affect their performance and wellbeing.
Use these activities as ice breakers, part of induction, or throughout your course to ‘set the tone’ of the classroom, meaning that everyone is welcome, everyone can participate, and everyone has a right to try things out.
