Student Wall of Fame Helps Boost Morale
13th February 2017
A ‘Student Wall of Frame’ was just one of the many wonderful ideas shared on the tutor2u Psychology Facebook Group this week.
Head of Psychology, Krishna Popat, recently created the Psychologists of the Month board to celebrate the achievements of her students.
“Many of the students were initially reluctant to have their picture taken and appear on the Psychologist of the Month board,” explained Krishna. “However, after the first month there was a noticeable sense of competition from students and a clear desire to appear on the board. It’s really brought the students together: not only do the students want to appear on the board for themselves, but they are also delighted when someone in their class appears, which has helped develop a real sense of community in the department.”
