21st November 2016

We're pleased to announce the immediate availability of new teaching resources to support AQA A Level Psychology.

New Teaching Resources for AQA A Level Psychology:

  • Research Methods Application Worksheets
  • Core Topic Sample Essays

Research Methods Application Worksheets

Now available for:

Social Psychology | Memory | Attachment

These Research Methods Application Worksheets provide an outline from a Year 1 Core Study providing an opportunity for students to revise Year 1 Content.

Each worksheets contains differentiated research methods questions that include key Year 1 and Year 2 content which means they can be used to both revise Year 1 research methods and also embed Year 2 research methods.

The questions require students to apply (AO2) their knowledge to existing core studies, a skill which students have historically struggled with.

Each worksheet is also accompanied by student-friendly model answers so that students and teachers can effectively assess their work.

Core Topics - Sample Essays

We now have three collections of sample essays for core A Level topics. These essays have been written by teachers and checked by senior examiners.

While no one can say exactly what mark an essay can achieve at this stage (as there have been no exams under the new linear spec), we are confident in the mark bands awarded, the content and the supporting examiner commentary.

Samples Essays are available for:

Issues and Debates | Biopsychology | Approaches
