A2 Hotspot Number 6: Shortcuts to IDA

You will be aware that Unit 3 essays need IDA. Don’t panic about spotting opportunities, there are shortcuts…here are a few…
- Any evolutionary theories give you chance to talk about the nature /nurture debate
- If there is a treatment or use for the knowledge, then there is a practical application ( this is underused as an IDA point)
- Is the research based on animals? Bingo..another IDA opportunity!
- Is it a biological explanation? Then it is probably reductionist.
Think IDA whilst you write. Remember one well explained point mean you can access to top mark bands. Good news!
