Throughout September, the tutor2u Psychology team has been busy delivering short CPD Webinars to Psychology teachers across the world! That’s right – across the world.

Last month, the Psychology team delivered 15 webinars to over 675 teachers, including specific webinars for AQA, Edexcel, OCR and IB Psychology. These webinars were packed with practical hints and tips, providing teachers with high-quality resources that are ready to use in the classroom.

Here’s what some of our teachers said:

  • I found the webinar on Schizophrenia incredibly useful. The activities are so focused on getting the students to see what is actually important & designed to draw out the skills required. I would be lost without the guidance from tutor2u & the support network it has provided me with. Thank you doesn't say enough. Katy Willson, Thomas Bennett Community College.
  • The webinars provided by the tutor2u team have been an invaluable source of knowledge. They have offered exciting and alternative way to teaching Psychology. Due to the change to the spec and being a new teacher I have found that the webinars have not only given me help but also boosted my confidence in my own teaching ability knowing that I am delivering effective lessons. I can't thank the team enough for their amazing webinars and resources. Amanda Pinder, Buttershaw Business and Enterprise College
  • I attended a really valuable webinar onschizophrenia that included model answers and in depth analysis of past questions in order to explore lessons learned. Excellent training tool for teachers with the added bonus of being able to download a video of the webinar and share with my students! Carey Allen Head of Psychology, Northampton College
  • Incredibly useful and supportive webinars, I have attended a few including Issues and Debates, Biopsychology, what happened in the exam and the first of the RSM series. All of the webinars have given me more confidence in delivering the new spec and loads of fab resources that both the students and myself enjoy using. And a sounding board - very useful being the sole teacher. I wish I had found Joseph and the tutor2u team earlier! Xanthe Miller, Head of Psychology, St Peters Catholic School, Guildford
  • I've been teaching Psychology successfully for 6 years and rarely do I borrow subject-specific resources or teaching ideas from people as I'm very fussy and often prefer to do my own thing. tutor2u has changed that this year. The resources are very cleverly done, easy to pick up and done with careful consideration of learners. I've just used the essay structuring ideas today and the students' work has improved noticeably. I'm just about to teach Biopsychology and actually can't wait because I've pinched so many good ideas from the webinars and other contributors on here. Richard Farnan, Head of Psychology, Harrogate Ladies' College
  • CPD I really look forward to! Interesting, engaging and effective activities, advice and guidance from other teachers who really care and are brilliant at what they do. This coupled with excellent presentation and webinars make tutor2u an invaluable source of support and inspiration. I've already put various handouts from them to use and I can't thank the team enough. Not only that but they also provide student support too! Bonus. Emily Wright, Woking College.
