Teaching Activity: The Pirate Code (Introducing Constitutions)
- Level:
- A-Level
Last updated 17 May 2021
In honour of Politics teacher Don Fear who became a Who Wants to be a Millionaire £1million winner with a pirate-based question, we're delighted to make this fantastic teaching activity available for free!
The aim of the Pirate Code is to introduce students to the concept of a constitution, using a fictional pirate scenario.
This activity forms a nice starter / ice-breaker activity at the start of the A-Level Politics course, but could be also revisited at the start of Year 13, when comparisons must be made between the UK and the US constitutions.
