The new school year is up and running and we are really keen to support Politics teachers with a regular supply of fresh teaching ideas and resources via the Politics blog. Would you like to get involved as a contributor and join Mike and the team?
Over 500 Politics teachers get the daily Blog email digest, giving them first news of relevant news items, website links, videos and other suggestions for enlivening learning. That number is growing by the day, proving there is a real enthusiasm from colleagues for the sharing of resources via the blog. The more contributors we have the better.
- Perhaps you have a special interest in US politics or Global Issues?
- Are you passionate about finding simple and cost-effective ways of using ICT to deliver Politics
- Do you have some approaches to teaching consitutional reform, political parties or pressure groups which you are happy to share with colleagues around the UK?
- What are you and your team doing this year to help promote Politics as an A Level option?
Writing for the Politics blog is very easy. Just login, type and submit! You can always edit or amend your contributions later, or perhaps respond to blog reader comments as part of a post.
Its a great way of developing your professional expertise and building a reputation amongst the Politics teaching community, as well as personally satisfying!
We’re looking for experienced Politics teachers and examiners, passionate new Politics educators, even part-time Politics teachers who spend more time delivering History or Law!
