What does the UN do?

Ruth Tarrant

15th September 2016

I love this series of mini clips from the United Nations outlining real-life examples of their work and intervention. Each clip is between about 2 minutes and 4 minutes in length.

Some of the clips include:

  • The Crozet Islands and a nuclear testing station
  • Saving Sao Tome through the chocolate industry
  • The story of a brave North Korean refugee
  • The response to the Zika outbreak
  • Preventing extinction of tigers
