According to that bastion of fine journalism, the News of the World, nineteen members of the Tory Shadow Cabinet are millionaires

Top of the list is Lord Strathclyde, whose inherited wealth is valued at £10m. But the majority on the list created their own wealth rather than inheriting it so it would be inappropriate to label then toffs. Some might dismiss this story as idle gossip, arguing that politicians should be judged on the job they do rather than what their background is.
