Learning about a new political system for the first time can be confusing - help is at hand!

If you’ve newly started US Government and Politics for A2 your head may be swimming a little. Even once you’re clear about the concepts of Separation of Powers and Checks and Balances it takes time to understand the details of their application to each of the three branches.

This online, interactive graphic (thanks to George Cassutto’s http://www.cyberlearning-world.com/ ) should help: test yourself, then hover over each part of the diagram to see which checks and balances operate before reading the details via the hyperlinks underneath.
