Last minute judicial review examples for Unit 2

Earlier today, David Cameron urged people to carry on continuing to register to vote in the upcoming EU referendum after a problem with the registration website meant some potential voters were unable to register before the official deadline. This led Bernard Jenkin, the Chair of the Public Administration Select Committee to state that this glitch could lead to a judicial review following the EU referendum. Before we look at some more examples, here’s a quick reminder of what is meant by judicial review in the UK context.
