Free online CPD from UK Parliament
12th July 2022
Wednesday 13 July at 4pm
Sure to be a helpful session on the importance of questions. Pretty sure the focus will be on executive-legislative relations, but questions are, of course, an important mechanism for the redress of grievances of constituents - possibly now the most important functions of an MP.
To quote from the Teacher Network email:
"Questions are a tool that can be used by Members at UK Parliament to seek information, press for action, or scrutinise the work of government.During this online event, we will hear from Lillian Zeitelhack, Business Manager, Table Office | UK Parliament, who will discuss the role of the Table Office and some of the ways questions are used at UK Parliament. As always, we will spend time reflecting on how this can be embedded in your classroom practice."
