Does Ed Miliband have the arsenal to send Cameron into the ropes?

Ed Milliband is to face his first prime minster’s questions as leader of the opposition. Whilst Mr Miliband has suggested that he will not oppose every government policy as a matter of course, but instead lead a “responsible opposition”, it is an opportunity to see just how Mr Miliband is going to handle this directly adversarial aspect of British politics. It was well reported that David Cameron most feared the elder Miliband, so does he now see PMQs as an opportunity to score some easy points on a lesser challenger?

Well, ultimately one has to consider the impact of PMQs on voters. It may well be watched by only a minority of the electorate, but it will undoubtedly be reported and consumed through various other forms of media, and it is because of this that it is a contest worth winning.

Tune in at high noon for one round lasting 30 minutes. Ding ding!
