It is well established that most Politics Blog users have a wide ranging and eclectic taste in reading, but I wonder if they have come across this long article in Vanity Fair (yes, the one with Angelina Jolie on the cover) on the 42nd President. Readers may be aware of how the two Clintons have amassed a $100m plus fortune since 2000, despite leaving the White House over $10m in debt. Less well known are details of the company the ex-President keeps, or the backroom role he played in his wife’s bid to control the most powerful office in the world.

Some point to Clinton’s medical traumas; others blame sheer selfishness, and the absence of anyone who can say “no.” Exploring Clintonworld, the author asks if the former president will be consumed by his own worst self.’
