tutor2u is now the leading publisher of digital learning resources for Politics and we are keen to build on our rapidly-growing customer and website user base to provide even more teaching and revision support. Here are details of how you can get involved…

Government and Politics is an increasingly important subject for tutor2u and there are some tremendous professional development opportunities available for colleagues who would like to get involved in some way.

For example, our Politics Blog, wonderfully led by Mike McCartney and the team, is part of a network of subject-resources that has delivered almost 16 million page impressions since their launch in Spring 2008. We are always delighted to welcome new authors for the Politics blog, including colleagues whose interest might also extend to contributing to our History, Economics, Business & IB Diploma blogs.

We also welcome contributions to First Past the Post - our popular digital magazine for AS/A2 Politics. Rachel Fairhead (FPTP Editor) would be delighted to explain more about what is involved.

We’re also looking to extend our collection of subscription-based teaching and revision materials for Politics, including:

- Teacher PowerPoint presentations on key Units (e.g. US Politics, Global Issues)
- Student Revision Guides (similar to our popular Edexcel ExamBuster for AS Units 1-3)
- Revision quizzes and activities - via our Puzzlepack and PowerPoint LessonGames formats (very popular in other subjects)

You may also have a resource idea or concept that we havent looked at yet - we’d be delighted to learn more about that and to see if we could help you make it available to colleagues in other departments.

To express an interest in joining the tutor2u Politics team, please complete this brief form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
