Remuneration: £500Marking Window: 31 January to 14 February (14 days)
Key ResponsibilitiesMark A-Level Politics exam scripts accurately using Edexcel's marking schemeProvide clear, constructive feedback on student responsesMeet the strict 14-day deadline while maintaining confidentialityParticipate in standardisation meetings to ensure marking consistency
Essential QualificationsPrevious experience marking Edexcel A-Level Politics scripts
Degree in Politics, Political Science, or a related fieldCurrent or recent teaching experience in A-Level Politics, preferably with Edexcel syllabusIn-depth knowledge of Edexcel's assessment criteria and marking procedures
Excellent understanding of current political affairs and theoriesRequirementsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Availability to complete marking within the specified 14-day window
Commitment to maintaining Edexcel's high standards of assessment
