AS/A Level Psychology examiners – summer 2025

About the role

Looking for a rewarding role that’ll advance your career and boost your income? OCR is looking for AS/A Level Psychology examiners to join our team this summer!

As an examiner, you’ll mark completed papers using a mark scheme, with full training provided to help you understand the exam process and your vital role in it. The marking window typically lasts 2–3 weeks between May and July, and you'll work alongside a supportive team and supervisor.

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need to be an OCR psychology teacher to apply! However, we do ask you have:

• A teaching qualification or a degree in a related subject
• Relevant teaching experience within the last three years
• We’ll also consider PGCE students who have completed the classroom teaching element of their course
• Previous or current teaching experience within the UK education system
• The ability to use IT confidently and effectively
