Concrete Operational stage of cognitive development (Piaget)

The concrete operational stage is the third stage of Piaget's theory of cognitive development, occurring between the ages of 7 and 11. Throughout this stage the child has learned to think logically if the concepts are familiar to them. Children start to problem solve and often learn new logic by discovery learning.
