Klinefelter Syndrome

Klinefelter Syndrome is where males are born with an extra X chromosome, which may come from either the father’s sperm or the mother’s egg.
People can live normal lives with Klinefelter Syndrome. However, the main issue is that there is a high probability of having fertility problems that can be targeted through fertility treatment.
Symptoms of Klinefelter Syndrome:
- Babies may have weak muscles
- Infants have delayed speech
- Taller than average height for age
- Delayed or incomplete puberty resulting in small testicles and less facial hair
