Baseline Assessments for NCFE T Level Health

This set of baseline assessments is designed to assess the knowledge your T Level Health students have, when they commence their course.

There are assessments for:

• Literacy
• Numeracy
• Science

The knowledge and skills assessed represent, in the broadest terms, the literacy, numeracy and science skills students should have developed in Key Stage 4, regardless of exam board and qualification type taken (e.g. foundation or higher papers in maths, and single, combined or triple science).

A mark scheme is included for each assessment, which can be used for teacher, self or peer assessment. A reflection sheet is also included for each assessment, to help students to reflect on their knowledge and skills, identify gaps and challenges, and plan how to improve.
