A really good opportunity to network. Facilitators were knowledgeable and have gone through the new processes themselves. I came away feeling more confident. We were given lots of great resources (and the food is great)!

New Free Resources

What’s the Factor? What’s the Effect?

This resource enables BTEC Tech Award Health and Social Care students to practice identifying factors that affect growth and development and match these to appropriate explanations for how they affect health and wellbeing. This will help students to develop their skills for answering the explain questions in the Component 3 exam where marks are awarded in pairs. It can be used as a teaching activity as each factor is taught or as a consolidation/revision activity.
