Celebrity Game of Life: Free Unit 1 Teaching Resource

Liz Blamire

10th January 2023

Here is a sneak peak of what you can expect from the HUGE resource bundle we are giving away with our Success in Unit 1 teacher CPD on Monday 30th January.

Celebrity Game of Life is a fun lesson activity or discussion stimulus. The aim of this activity is to encourage students to read ‘case studies’ and pick out relevant points linked to topics from across the Unit 1 specification: human growth and development and the factors that affect it, major life events and the effects of ageing. The activity can be extended to enable students to demonstrate interrelationships between factors and make connections to and between theories and models.

Five different teaching strategies are presented, with numerous questions prompts to help you guide your students through. The only resources required are the attached PDF and a selection of lifestyle and gossip magazines.
