ABOUT THIS ASSESSMENT RESOURCE

This digital assessment resource has twelve Exam Shorts for Paper 1, each with an example 9 mark question, teacher notes, mark scheme and exemplar answers.

There are two Exam Shorts for each topic area within the Paper 1 topics that have 9 markers.

Exam Shorts are a really versatile and preparation-time saving teaching resource.

They are perfect for helping your Year 11 AQA GCSE Geography students refine their exam technique for 9-mark questions in Paper 1 after obtaining feedback from mocks,

Another way is to use the teacher notes to help model part answers which your students then finish off, or you can use them to familiarise yourself with what the examiner is looking for to improve your own confidence when teaching exam technique.

You can set students the questions and get them to peer mark using the mark scheme and the teacher notes.

In addition, you can give the notes to students and get them to write the perfect 9 mark answer using them, or give them the exemplars to highlight and annotate where they think that marks have been awarded.

And of course, Exam Shorts are also a great homework resource, and good for practising time management!
