Being an Awesome GCSE Geographer!
- Level:
- GCSE
Last updated 17 May 2021
Here's a great resource to encourage GCSE Geography students to be awesome at their subject!
Being an awesome GCSE geographer is about so much more than knowing place names and rivers. The subject is multidisciplinary, and includes so many quantitative and qualitative skills.
The ‘awesome geographer’ diagram is a useful representation for students to demonstrate the different strands that are required in order to become successful.
This diagram leads nicely into the ‘speak like a geographer...write like a geographer’ exercise, which is an effective way of empowering students to articulate their thoughts, develop their answers, and explain their points.
