U turn from the USA on climate deal?
17th September 2017
The EU climate commissioner has stated that the USA will stay in the Paris Climate Deal or amend its terms slightly to stay in the deal.
This latest outcome comes after many months of tension between the two sides. Spokespeople for Trump have clearly denied the existence of climate change and have previously had no intention of risking industrial growth for environmental gain.
So who is telling the truth? The EU Commissioner clearly believes that talks with the USA have gone well, yet the White House has stated that there has been "no change" in the USA's position. For further information on this, check out http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/worl...
