Outstanding Geography Student Award

The Geographical Association are running a competition to reward outstanding Geography students. The competition is aimed at KS4 pupils with the prize being a school trip to the Azores. Entrants need to complete one of the decision making exercises on the website https://www.discover-the-world.co.uk/study-trips/g... and submit a 100-200 word personal statement. The decision making exercises are on tourism or renewable energy in the Azores and offer the pupils a real opportunity to show off their geographical understanding and skills. The tasks would work really well as a lesson or as a homework.
