The world has changed since 2020 to the extent that even the latest editions of some major course textbooks are no longer up-to-date.

In the last 21 months, global systems have been shaken to their core by the Covid-19 pandemic, Joe Biden’s defeat of Donald Trump and on-going uncertainty about the UK’s post-Brexit trading relationship with the EU.
