Global Systems & Global Governance in need of a refresh?
6th December 2021
The world has changed since 2020 to the extent that even the latest editions of some major course textbooks are no longer up-to-date.
In the last 21 months, global systems have been shaken to their core by the Covid-19 pandemic, Joe Biden’s defeat of Donald Trump and on-going uncertainty about the UK’s post-Brexit trading relationship with the EU. During the pandemic, digital platforms and technologies including Zoom and Teams further disrupted conventional global flows of information, people, goods and services and, of course, money. Does this mean ‘business-as-usual’ globalisation is over? Time will tell.
All of this means that the turn of the year is a good time to be seeking out new ideas and information relevant to the AQA Global Systems and Global Governance core topic.
Our new revision guide provides you with a concise, lively and bang-up-to-date roadmap to help you navigate global systems in a fast-changing world!
