Explaining The Global Shortage of Sand Reserves

Global reserves of sand are being depleted as demand has soared in the last 10-15 years to support significant volume of construction, particularly in Asia.

The world won't run out of sand, but as the video explains it will become harder and more expensive to source it, with an increasing environmental cost too.
