Continuous Urban Fabric - BBC's New Landscape Map

How much of the UK is continuous urban fabric? Buildings cover less of Britain than the land revealed when the tide goes out!
The answer is 0.1%. Only 5.9% of land space in the UK is built on. The BBC has published new maps looking a land use across the UK. Apparently Bradford is 0.3% continuous urban fabric and 11% peat bog. 1.4% of the country is covered in buildings; 99% of the UK is not covered in housing!
