Cleaning the Ganges Proving to be a Tough Task

Improving the water quality of the Ganges is an enormous, but obviously important task. Of huge religious significance, the Ganges is a also a critical source of water supply in India.
However, political commitments to invest in water improvement and treatment are proving hard to deliver, as this report from the FT explains.
