A-Level Geography Entries and Grades for 2022

It was great to see Geography's A-level entries climb this year, with more than 37,000 students sitting A-level Geography exams in June 2022. 'Geography is again one of the top 10 most popular subjects' (JCQ), perhaps a demonstration of student interest in the climate crisis:
'Having a solid understanding of geography is one way to equip young people to make sense of, and contribute positively to, these challenging times' commented The Royal Geographical Society with IBG.
Here are the A-level Geography grade boundaries for the four most popular examining bodies in June 2022.

Below you can see the distribution of 2022 A-level Geography grades by exam board.
Over a third of entrants sat AQA A-level Geography (38.3%). A similar proportion of entrants, in 2022, studied for Edexcel A-level Geography (35.7%) .
