Richard Thaler
Richard Thaler has made significant contributions to the study of decision-making under uncertainty, the role of mental accounting in consumer behaviour, and the importance of "nudges" in shaping behaviour. He is the author of several books, including "Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness" and "Misbehaving: The Making of Behavioral Economics". In 2017, Thaler was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for his contributions to behavioral economics.
