Thomas Schelling
Thomas Schelling was an American economist and Nobel laureate who made a number of important contributions to the field of economics. He is best known for his work on game theory and the study of strategic behavior, and his insights have had a significant impact on our understanding of how people make decisions and interact with one another. Schelling's work has been widely cited and has influenced a range of fields, including economics, political science, psychology, and sociology. He was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2005 for his contributions to the study of conflict and cooperation through game-theory analysis. Schelling passed away in December 2016.
