International Monetary Fund (IMF)
The IMF is an organisation of over 180 countries, promoting global monetary cooperation, financial stability, international trade, employment and sustainable economic growth. It provided help for several nations in the wake of the 2007-09 financial crises. The three main roles of the IMF are economic policy advisor, lending, and capacity development.
