Hygiene poverty is when people cannot afford to buy basic hygiene products, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper, and menstrual products. It can also include the inability to afford to wash clothes, clean their homes, or take care of their personal hygiene. Hygiene poverty can have a negative impact on people's physical and mental health, as well as their social and economic well-being.
