Hybrid Working
Hybrid working is a combination of traditional office-based work and remote working. It allows employees to split their time between the office and working from home or another remote location. The pandemic has had a significant impact on the adoption of hybrid working arrangements.
Many companies were forced to implement remote work arrangements due to stay-at-home orders and social distancing measures. Even as restrictions have eased, many employees and employers have embraced the flexibility and cost savings of hybrid working arrangements. In fact, a 2021 survey by Global Workplace Analytics found that 56% of employees were working remotely at least part-time, compared to just 17% before the pandemic. This shift has been driven by both employees’ desire for greater flexibility and employers’ realization that remote work can be just as productive as traditional office-based work.
