Automatic thinking
Also known as system 1 thinking – people tend to consider what automatically comes to mind (narrow frame). Automatic thinking is effortless and intuitive.
Automatic thinking, also known as automatic processing or automaticity, refers to the mental processes that occur automatically and without conscious effort. However, automatic thinking can also lead to cognitive biases and errors in judgment, particularly when we are faced with complex or unfamiliar situations.
